The purpose of the Young Scholars of Charter School Extra Curricular Program during Extended Day (ED) is to provide students with educational, fun and safe after school activities throughout the school week. The Program will not only offer academic support, but also it will provide students with outlets where they may extend their knowledge gained during the school day.

Following are a sample of potential clubs.  Clubs will be offered depending upon interest levels.

  • Scratch Programming :
    • Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations.

The formation of any club will depend on reasonable interest from students. Other clubs may be formed based upon demonstrated student interest.  Athletic intermural activities will be organized on a space available, student interest basis.
